The good folks at Spectropop created a very nice little webpage dedicated to Honey Ltd.
Honey Ltd. did an excellent version of LOUIE LOUIE back in the 60’s, producted by Lee “These Boots Are Make for Walking” Hazelwood. When you check out this Spectopop page, you can see a scan of the original 45.
Also over at the Spectrop pages, you can find a book review of Bikinis, Black Denim And Bitchen Sounds, which is “A Musical Appreciation Of Female Surf, Hot-Rod And Related Recordings 1961-1967.” I haven’t picked it up yet, but it looks good!
