Ike Turner “The New Breed Part 2”- LOUIE relative of the Week

Posted on July 23, 2015

This week, it’s another LOUIE relative – not quite a full LOUIE, but close enough so that it feels it’s part of the LOUIE family.

The track is called “The New Breed Part 2” and it was recorded by Ike Turner & His Kings Of Rhythm in Los Angeles, 1965, released on the Sue Records label.

This song has a cool instrumental groove that feels like it’s got a LOUIE LOUIE backbone to it, enhanced by some tasty guitar licks by Ike to take it to a whole different level…

ENJOY!
