Blast from Past – KQAK visits KFJC Max LOUIE

Posted on February 11, 2015

Thanks to my friend Jennifer of Radiosurvivor, I found this cool archival photo on Facebook!

This is Belle Nolan and Mike Koste of KQAK (aka The Quake) visiting the KFJC Maximum Louie Louie Marathon that began on August 19, 1983. Over the course of 63+ hours, KFJC played over 800 different versions. This photo was taken by Hank London.

Apparently Belle forgot she even did this interview!

Luckily, we have an audio recording….

… and the Semi-Complete KFJC Maximum LOUIE LOUIE air check list – updated November 2014.
