Here’s a rare little photo you’ll never see anywhere else – the original Kingsmen performing on television in September 1961, two years before they ever released their version of LOUIE LOUIE. They were doing a live TV commercial on KOIN TV in Portland, Oregon, advertising “Hood River Combo” – an orange flavored fruit drink.
