For the first time in 35 years, James Williamson, returns to the stage to perform the songs he used to do with Iggy & the Stooges. The Careless Hearts are his backup band, and the venue is the Blank Club in San Jose, CA.
Me, Im just glad I was there on September 5, 2009 to experience it all. Because I happened to have a pocket camera with me that night, I can relive the experience and share the memories.
As a guy who happens to be devoting a big chunk of his time documenting the song LOUIE LOUIE, I’m tickled that Richard Berry’s most famous song was the big finale that night.
Paul Nelson Kimball channeled the Iggy Pop vocals that night, keeping his clothes on during this peanut butter-free performance.
