An unlikely movie about the Kingsmen

Posted on December 27, 2005

Over on eBay, found an odd listing for a 1978 movie entitled “Youngblood” that features a storyline involving the Kingsmen. Check this out:

This is an action film about L.A. gangs. A young kid (Youngblood) wants to join the Kingsmen. But being so young, he has to impress the gang’s leader. He’s able to do so, eventually becoming one of the leader’s most trusted members. Later on they get involved in a drug war. This is an excellent film. It’s well acted, and very believable. It also has a great soundtrack. Be sure not to miss this one.

I don’t think this is the same group that did LOUIE LOUIE…
