We had the <strong>Cafe Blues Band<\/strong>, a fun band from Russia, take the first honors for what should be a regular feature.  This week, we&#8217;ll acknowledge <strong>the Toga Kings<\/strong>, a fun band from Bellingham, Washington.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.louielouie.net\/pix-2008\/toga-kings.jpg\" alt=\"The Toga Kings of Bellingham\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dblcrown.com\/toga.html \">their official webpage<\/a> had to say about this band:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>THE TOGA KINGS<\/strong> are Bellingham&#8217;s newest beer swilling sensations. Taking inspiration from <strong>The Kingsmen<\/strong>, <strong>The Sonics<\/strong>, <strong>The Trashmen<\/strong> and the film <strong>Animal House<\/strong>, this crazy combo performs a set of tunes that will get bar hoppers dancin&#8217; from coast to coast.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You can hear their version of LOUIE LOUIE by visiting their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/thetogakings \">MySpace page<\/a>.   Even though <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dblcrown.com\/toga.html\">their official webpage<\/a> is on the <strong>Double Crown<\/strong> Records page, there&#8217;s no plans for any actual recordings.
