A few things to share today. First, thanks my friend Roger Hart<\/strong>, former manager of Paul Revere & the Raiders<\/strong>, I now know about Robin Mitchell<\/strong>‘s webpage<\/a> dedicated to Portland radio circa 1962-1965. Here’s an example of what some of this webpage looks like:<\/p>\n

As you can see by this image, Robin is certainly hip to the magic of LOUIE LOUIE. KISN Radio<\/strong> in particular, holds a special place in the history of LOUIE LOUIE. It was the station that hired both Robert Hart and Ken Chase<\/strong> as disc jockeys. Roger managed Paul Revere & the Raiders, and Ken was the owner of the Chase nightclub<\/strong>, who wound producing the Kingsmen’<\/strong>s recording of LOUIE LOUIE.<\/p>\n

Second, Phil Milstein<\/strong><\/a> sent me a link to Larry Cutrone<\/strong>‘s webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Louie Louie a new comedy by Larry Cutrone will get a world premiere at Morristown-Beard on May 12, 2006 at 8:00PM.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I wish I would had known about this show before it happened….<\/p>\n

Apparently, Louie Louie is the story of a small time New Jersey hood whose car backfires him to kingdom come in a mob rubout. It sounds like a fun story. I’d love to see it ….<\/p>\n

I’m flattered that you took the time to write and were interested in my script Louie Louie. Actually Louie Louie is a screenplay that Beth Vecchio just had to try and adapt to the stage.
