He&#8217;s the star of the syndicated comic strip &#8220;<strong>Dennis the Menace<\/strong>,&#8221; invented by <strong>Hank Ketcham<\/strong> in 1951.  Now written and drawn by Ketcham&#8217;s former assistants, <strong>Marcus Hamilton<\/strong> and <strong>Ron Ferdinand<\/strong>, this strip is distributed to more than at least 10,000 newspapers in 48 countries and 19 languages by King Features Syndicate.   This particular Dennis has been the star of a live action TV show that lasted four years (1959-1963), two motion picture comedies (1993 +1998), a handful of animated TV shows, and was used as the cartoon mascot for the <strong>Dairy Queen<\/strong> restaurant chain.<\/p>\n<p>There is both an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennisthemenace.com\/\">official Dennis the Menace website<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dennis_the_Menace_(US)\">unauthorized Wikipedia webpage<\/a> for this beloved character.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.louielouie.net\/pix-2007\/dennis-band.jpg\" alt=\"Dennis Mitchell Band\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also another <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennismitchellband.com\"><strong>Dennis Mitchell<\/strong><\/a> that you should know about.  He&#8217;s a singer-songwriter based in Portland, Oregon with a band that&#8217;s simply called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennismitchellband.com\"><strong>The Dennis Mitchell Band<\/strong><\/a>.  He was previously in a band called <strong>No Ties<\/strong>.   His older brother, <strong>Mike Mitchell<\/strong> is from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennismitchellband.com\/modules.php?name=Kingsmen\">another band from Portland<\/a> that you have heard of.  When Mike&#8217;s band recently went through personnel changes, Dennis was invited to become a member.<\/p>\n<p>Ladies and gentlemen, meet <strong>Dennis Mitchell<\/strong>, the newest member of <strong>the Kingsmen!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are other guys named <strong>Dennis Mitchell<\/strong>, including a <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dennis_Mitchell\">gold medal athlete<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/bwtb.net\/\">disc jockey that likes to play Beatles music<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sentryselect.com\/index.cfm?bioid=16&#038;pagepath=Managers\/The_Team_Approach&#038;id=127\">portfolio manager for an investment company<\/a>, an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennismitchellsautomotive.com\/\">owner of an auto repair facility in Tennessee<\/a>, and even <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myspace.com\/thequags  \">some guy on MySpace<\/a> that used to have a band called <strong>Dennis Mitchell &#038; the Wilsons<\/strong>, but we won&#8217;t talk about them&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>If you want to learn more about <strong>Dennis Mitchell<\/strong>, the guy who is now a new member of the famous garage band that put LOUIE LOUIE on the charts, go to:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dennismitchellband.com\/\">DennisMitchellBand.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You may have heard of Dennis Mitchell.
