Here’s a rare little photo you’ll never see anywhere else – the original Kingsmen <\/strong>performing on television in September 1961, two years before they ever released their version of LOUIE LOUIE. They were doing a live TV commercial on KOIN TV<\/strong> in Portland, Oregon, advertising “Hood River Combo<\/strong>” – an orange flavored fruit drink. This image is courtesy of Lynn Easton<\/strong>, one of the co-founders of The Kingsmen.<\/p>\n
